The Secret Place

It has become a routine abi?
Everyday looks normal
There is no zeal to go back to the place of peace
The desire is there but the body is weak
The thought of you going to your happy place the next day daily rings
But, days keep turning to weeks and weeks to months and just like that the first quarter is almost gone

Are you not happy when you find yourself there?
You cry, but they come with Joy
You feel refreshed and come out with your head up
You see the world as a play ground
You see men differently
Your ego is consumed and all you see is Love

But the work, the pressure, the assignment, the rounds
They take you away from there sha
It's not easy at all
Asking for some little Peace and Joy
Is that even too much to ask?
I guess it isn't.

You have the answer to the problem
But you relent
You have responsibilities in that area, or?
Ah well, you will ignite when you are tasked
Perhaps you have 2 days to your session
Good time to prepare I guess

But have you seen one rush in preparation and produced a good result?
Don't you feel empty after this long?
Are things working correctly?
Aren't you lagging behind?
Aren't you missing the seasons?
You should be forming that which has been given to you
Yes! We aren't bounded by time but, we roll with times and seasons

There isn't time, but, I can tell you have time for that which makes you laugh temporarily
That which makes you happy all round but we go back to our bed feeling depressed and stressed
That which takes your time and leaves you void
Then, there is time. You have time

You don't grow because you have been shown a glimpse of the future
It takes discipline, hardwork, love and the desire to keep at it
Your consistency will build that atmosphere for you
Your discipline will develop that growth
Your desire will open you up to wisdom, knowledge, understanding and countless visions
Your time of intimacy will announce your message

Stop roaming, go back to the place where it all started
Go to the place of your peace
Go to the place of your comfort
Go to the place where you find meaning
Open the scriptures
Shut your door and pray
Take that journal and write
Read a book
Spend quiet times with your Creator

Enter with the desire, be disciplined, stay consistent and emerge refined
Your struggle will be your Strategy
Your weeping, Your Joy
Your secret place, Your place of peace
