Don't Lose Hope, You have a Father.
3 July 2020

Don’t lose hope. Each day comes with a new challenge, a new battle, and a struggle in it all. We either cry, worry, smile on our pains, crushing inside with thoughts in our minds if we have been forgotten. Others may take it as fate. A time comes when everything seems not to be working out as soon as joy floods then destruction appears like a raging sea taking back all the joy.
In these times our pillows become our friends, in silence we groan, in silence we mourn, in loneliness we curse ourselves and the world. Blaming it all on ourselves and the rest of the world thinking how the world operators created it.
We ask God many questions if He really is God? If he really loves us? If he really sees everything going on and still gives way for them to happen. We get mad, broken, hurt and even forget we crush our soul which does same to our Spirit.
A times we sleep thinking the problem will be solved after we arise from sleep but we wake up and the deep cuts seems to be deeper than it was the other day. All we sometimes ask is God alive at all hahha? We then reflect on any sin we committed believing it is the cause or even generational patterns and curses.
The secret is, God never left us and he will never do so. His love for his people is beyond measure, wide and higher than anything man could ever think of. What we do and go through doesn’t end his love for us, he loves us and sees it all…. He fights our battles for us daily and works things out for our good. God is not a father who feeds his children but leaves the battles to be fought by them alone. He is a father.
Most a times during the celebration of mothers it goes so viral that we are all happy celebrating our mothers on every social media platform but when it’s that of Fathers we don’t see it like that of the mothers. Even others caption it as responsible Father’s day which shouldn’t be so because some mother are irresponsible just that we don’t speak about it. Have you ever seen a Father who loves his kids before?
The heart of a father is way different from that of a mother, the heart of a father continually loves his daughter as a child irrespective of how grown he or she becomes. The bond between a father and his children is one that is so difficult to break, destroy or even consume by any fire. It’s so strong even fathers do not realize it. Irrespective of how stubborn a child might be the father might scold a bit but hurts within just to see his child come out as the best. Fathers mold their children to the person they want them to become and mostly leaving them to make tough decisions and they are always ready to help. You might not see this with your biological dad so you might disagree but you definitely see this in another person whom you call Father, brother, beloved or friend…. That is the heart of the Father I am talking about…. It doesn’t stop loving.
It shows you different forms and expression of love so as to make you feel special and different and not tired of a one way love. This is who our God is, he expresses his love for us in so many ways even in our sufferings, pain, struggle where we think all is lost and things are crushing down. That’s when he says I am still with you I will never leave you neither will I forsake you.
In it all, when you feel the sun burns you more than it should, you facing an army so strong you are losing the battle or even you walking on a path where there is no stream to give your life, turn to that heart of a father which makes the impossible possible, smiles at you in it all and pulls you out of the many dangers that may come your way. See it all as a test but you must rise up and not allow the test to take over you so that you tell yourself my father will save me. It just like going to an exams hall without learning and thinking you have a father who will help you to pass easily.. no.. its time you learn so as to pass the test per your effort and that of the Father. You being ready, quickens, motivates, speeds the Father the heart to be with you always and not worry about you.
So the test and challenges we face, as we turn and lay it all to God we must arise and do our best to overcome as our Father sees to it that we overcome. We should never let these push us back and cause us to lament till we can never rise again. Keep pushing and tell yourself you have a Father whose heart keeps and is always there to save. When thought of hopelessness fall in just tell yourself all is well and that your Father is there to save and he loves you. With this you relationship with daddy gets strong and in it all you will smile when the earth knocks at your door with all the challenges because, you will definitely overcome as your Father is the chief driver and you are able to speak to him and he to you daily. An unending and intimate relationship with the father brings joy, hope, love, belief, faith, yearning and desire to the heart of the son.
Don’t lose hope at all, there is a Father who needs your attention, ready to listen, love on you which he does all the time and direct you. God still loves you keep pushing.
